Google New Algorithm Launches “Penguin Update”

Google has named its latest web spam algorithm update Penguin at 234 April 2012. For those who believe their search rankings have been wrongly hit by this update, or if you’re seeing spam Google missed, Matt Cutts has announced the arrival of a feedback form.
The idea behind the so-called Penguin update is straightforward and apparently benefiting for the search landscape: produce great content, avoid webspam techniques (keywords stuffing, link schemes and such) and rank high,” says Viktar Khamianok, CEO, Link-Assistant.Com. “However, the last week has shown things seem to be a little more complicated: some webmasters have already reported on dramatic traffic drops, others are worried their turn is yet to come. Avoid links to web spam:-

1. Keyword stuffing
2. Link schemes
3. Cloaking, “sneaky” redirects or “doorway” pages
4. Purposeful duplicate content
